Jaliscos Tortillas posted on 6/5/2009
Deliciouso!
Jaliscos is a great place to get fine AUTHENTIC Mexican food and atmosphere. It has wonderfully big portions and high quality food. I was impressed. The atmosphere may at times contain a marriachi band and the smell of fajitas. It was clean, tasty, and worth every cent. On your way out make sure to buy a home made Mexican praline. I can practically guarantee they are home made, as their packaging is a small plastic container lid and saran wrap. They are a sweet end to any meal. I strongly recommend Jaliscos to anyone who likes authentic Mexican food, not your everyday Taco Bell.

Carrabba's Italian Grill posted on 6/5/2009
Squisito!
I have not been to Carrabba's in at least two years, and am awaiting my next visit, as I live out of state. Their bread and olive oil-spice dip is supposively to die for which I disagree with since I have bought the same spice mix from WalMart and made it myself. Last time i was there though, I had the eggplant parmesan which I was thoroughly impressed with. I believe it was baked an compared to fried and had excellent flavor. The pasta was perfect, and I was extremely satisfied. I was there for a birthday celebration and had fried cannolis as a birthday desert. They left me wanting more. Overall, I would recommend Carrabba's to anyone who likes Italian.

Whataburger posted on 6/5/2009
My Favorite.
By far, Whataburger is my favorite fast-food-burger restaurant in the U.S. It features unique items like the Thick & Hearty Burger with A1 Thick & Hearty Sauce. They are unique. It's like HEB; I've only found them in Texas. The ingredients are always fresh, and the restaurant is always clean. I've enjoyed many times and would recommend to anyone who is tired of McDonald's, Burger King, and Sonic.

Mcclard's Bar B Q posted on 6/5/2009
sometimes things are DIFFERENT.
So McClard's doesn't make their Bar-B-Q sauce with ketchup? Its just different; it doesn't make it in the least bit too "vinegary". If you haven't noticed, the place gets packed, so your waiter will be busy. They like to get to know people, and will talk to them, so do you. Just because it's not what you're used to doesn't mean its bad. I agree with oldcpa... This place has character and history. It's not Ruby Tuesday's! Do you want it to taste good or look good? You want mediocre? Try your average chain restaurant.
